SEASONAL STEP BY STEPsmall vases
I love to use small pots of flowers down a long table so you still have lots of room for large serving plates and it gives you a chance to use delicate small flowers. It also looks more casual and contemporary than one long arrangement down the center.
materials:
5 old glass yoghurt pots
40 stems of fritillaria olivieri
50 stems of muscari armeniancum
'Blue Spike'
10 stems of white Rosa 'Princess Spray'
50 stems of Lily of the Valley
(Convallaria Majalis)
a length of ivy leaves (Hedera Helix)
a length of raffia
1. First tie two ivy leaves onto the sides of yoghurt pot glasses with a length of raffia.
2. Fill with water mixed with flower food and then arrange little bunches of flower heads in your hand. Cut the spray roses up so you can use the individual heads. Trim the ends of each bunch to fit the pot.
